State Democrats Shine Their Spotlight on MDC Member India Larrier for Women’s History Month!

The New Jersey Democratic State Committee is celebrating Women’s History Month by highlighting the careers of noteworthy and accomplished Democratic women in our state. The most recent woman to receive this honor is India S. Larrier, Senior Project Manager for Community Catalyst, a national organization focused on advocacy for health justice and racial equity.

Prior to Community Catalyst, India had a long and varied career of prior advocacy in New Jersey with Citizen Action and AARP.

As a resident of Maplewood, India and her husband John raised three children. She served two terms as an elected member of Maplewood’s Township Committee (2012-2017) and president of the local Board of Health. She is currently a Maplewood Democratic Committee District Leader for District 3, and a member of MDC’s Executive Committee.  India is Co-Chair of our NJ Democratic State Committee’s Older Adult Caucus.
