2024-2026 Executive Committee Elected, New District Leaders Join the MDC

The Maplewood Dems held our annual Reorganization meeting on June 17th, during which the following members were elected to serve as officers: 

Chairperson: Ian Grodman

1st Vice Chairperson: Rebecca Scheer

2nd Vice Chairperson: John Sullivan

Recording Secretary: India Larrier

Corresponding Secretary: Kathy Leventhal

Treasurer: Michele Alonso

Member at Large: Shannon Cuttle

At our meeting, we also welcomed several new district leaders, who were elected on the June 4th Primary Election:

Nancy Schwartz (D2), Sean Bailey (D2), Paul Stephan (D4), Beth Cooper Benjamin (D5), Julian Brash (D6), Gail Safian (D8), Jane Collins-Colding (D9), Nancy Adams (D15), Craig Miller (D16), Jen Chuang (D17), Bob Dreyfuss (D17).

These 11 new District Leaders will serve voters by working to Get Out The Vote for Democratic candidates at all levels of government, endorsing candidates for our Township Committee, assisting in promoting and developing good government, and collaborating with the Essex County Democratic Committee.
