Thank You for Voting, Maplewood!

Congratulations to Nancy Adams and Malia Herman who will be our Democratic candidates in November for the Township Committee seats that will be available on January 1st. We also thank Jamaine Cripe for her efforts in her race to continue on the Township Committee. She is continuing "the good fight" until the end of the year, and within our community for many years to come.

Thanks to all who helped out with the election. The turnout ended up being a bit better than expected, and our District Leaders who were being challenged, Fred Profeta, along with Gail Safian in District 8 and, Dean Dafis and Rick Greenberg in District 7 all prevailed. Congratulations to them, and thank you to all of you who provided assistance with their races.

The Official Results are not out, as yet.  We are expecting them by next Monday.  With so many ways to vote, time is needed to get counting completed.  The Unofficial Results are at essexclerk.com – just click the banner at the top of the page.
